Mount Etna

We drove up Mount Etna on Monday so Penny and Robert could see the volcano up close and personal. It was a beautiful day! We took the lift up and walked the trails for a while. It was nice and cool up there and the bright blue sky was a nice contrast to the black lava. We even found one last patch of snow up there. You can see the rest of the photos here.

My friend, Barb (http://mysisterskitchen.wordpress.com/) told me about your site. I am in Sicily now and heading up Etna tomorrow! Do you enjoy Sicily? I haven’t been here long but like it so far.
